As traveling is a huge part of them, Seb and Fran wanted that incorporated into their wedding decor. They gave us a fun poll to work with (Vote for the first country they visit as husband & wife!) and we put together a fun display for the activity, completed with vintage suitcases, travel memorabilia from their trips around the world and vintage map pieces as voting cards. We also extended the theme to their photobooth backdrop, with a map print backdrop and soaring paper planes. The aisle in the beautiful Straits Room was also lined with pretty fairy lights for a magical touch.
And as for the poll, Greece won and they really did take that trip – Santorini in June 2015!
“Shuying and her merrymakers from MerryLove were with us at every step of the wedding preparation up to our actual day. She was patient to hear us out in the initial stages of discussion, was accommodating with our budget and advised us on the best decorations which would suit our travel wedding theme and venue. We could put our minds at ease to leave her with the decorations on the actual day and the Merrymakers did a brilliant job. Everything was exactly how we had envisaged it to be and we received so many lovely compliments about the reception table décor and photo wall from our guests. All decorations were hand-made and sourced personally to suit our theme. Shuying made sure to include our personal items (e.g. photos, travel docs, souvenirs) to add a unique touch to our travel voting booth.
We cannot thank Merrylove Weddings enough – they worked magic for our wedding venue and we are delighted to recommend them to couples who are looking for a personalised, versatile and flexible wedding décor specialist. BIG HUGS to SY! :)” – Seb & Fran, review posted on The Wedding Scoop.
